Farm Town Hiring allows you to speed up tasks and earn more money. In this post I will teach you how to hire in Farm Town and reveal the costs.
To hire someone in Farm Town you need to go the Farm Town Marketplace or Inn. Next all you have to do is click on another Farm Town Avatar and ask them to harvest, harvest crops or plow at your farm. If they agree to work for you a message will pop up asking you whether you want to go with them to your farm. If you select yes you will be taken back to your farm and if you select no you can continue to do whatever.
Ok, so what is the catch? Why would other people want to work for you? How much do you have to pay them to work at your farm? It does not cost you anything when they plow or harvest at your farm. They however can earn Farm Town Coins for harvesting your crops. The amount will be based on the value of your crops. So, people will get paid much more for harvesting blueberry than grapes. You will probably notice that if you hire someone to harvest a higher value crop they will finish the job faster. Sometimes if you harvest someone to harvest grapes or raspberries they will just leave your farm before they finish. Not only do crops get harvested faster when people work for you, you also receive a bonus in the numbers of crops harvested. For example you may get more crops harvested than your actual number of fields.
Farm Town Plowing is rewarded differently. Instead of being paid based on crop value the people you hire get paid a set amount. It initially costs you 20 coins to plow one field. When hiring someone to plow it only costs you 15 coins for each land square plowed. They also earn 5 coins and 1 Farm Town Experience.
